Kind Words From Students

Katie
“Prenatal class was my favorite part of pregnancy.
I so appreciated the way you fostered community among us (even through a virtual class!) and really listened to what people’s bodies needed and adjusted accordingly. I knew I could count on Wednesday nights to help me reset and center myself, whatever else my week had been like.”

Kelly
“Her classes have helped me tremendously in working through all the physical, mental and emotional challenges that come along with pregnancy.
She always takes the time to listen to everyone’s needs, suggests modifications and offers tips for positioning and breathing during labor.”

Chelsea
“This weekly class was pivotal for me.
It helped me prepare both mentally and physically for childbirth. Her insight and understanding of the pregnant body was so evident in the way she guides each class. In addition, the care she takes to utilize non judgmental language and offer adjustments is wonderful.”
Your Body
Knows The Way

After four years of infertility, I was overwhelmed with gratitude when I finally became pregnant—but also filled with fear.
Navigating a high-risk twin pregnancy after IVF meant endless medical appointments, advice, and precautions.
But through yoga, Somatic Experiencing®, and energy work, I had already built the tools to stay grounded. I leaned into my body’s wisdom, and when it came time to give birth, I led my own labor—fully present, fully trusting.
Pregnancy is a time of profound transformation, and no matter what your journey looks like, you deserve to feel safe, supported, and deeply connected to your body’s innate wisdom.
Through movement, breathwork, and somatic awareness, I help women prepare for birth with confidence, release fear, and reconnect with their power.

FAQs
Is this class suitable for all trimesters? Yes, this class is designed to support you through every stage of pregnancy. We’ve welcomed students as early as 8 weeks and as late as 35 weeks. If you’re in your first trimester, you’ll be guided to avoid abdominal toning and any movements that might not be appropriate during early pregnancy. Individualized modifications and guidelines are offered to meet your unique needs, ensuring a safe, supportive, and empowering practice at every stage.
What if I can’t make it to a live class? No problem! After our live sharing circle, the yoga portion of class (including movement, breath-work, and any modifications) is recorded and sent to you. This allows you to practice at your own pace and on your own time, while still receiving the guidance and support offered in class.
How do the classes help with pelvic floor health? Each person has a unique pelvic floor, and our classes honor that. Some people have a tight or overactive pelvic floor and benefit from poses that promote relaxation and release. Others may have a more relaxed pelvic floor and need gentle toning and strengthening. Throughout class, we incorporate breathwork and movement designed to support both needs. As you move closer to birth, we focus on building awareness of the pelvic floor to help you learn how to soften and release - an essential skill for optimal labor and delivery.
What if I have specific aches or discomforts I want to address? At the beginning of each class, we hold space to check in and share how we're feeling. This is the perfect time to let me know about any new aches, discomforts, or changes in your health. With this information, I can offer personalized modifications and tailor the class to support your body’s current needs - so you feel safe, seen, and supported throughout your practice.
What equipment do I need for the class? You’ll need a yoga mat, two yoga blocks, a bolster (or a dense pillow), and a blanket. These props help support your body in each pose, making the practice more comfortable and effective, especially during pregnancy. If you don’t have everything on hand, don’t worry! You can use household alternatives that I’ll guide you through in class.
How long are the classes? Each class is 75 minutes long. We begin with about 20 minutes of check-in and connection—a chance to share how you’re doing and build community with others in the group. The remaining 50 minutes are devoted to the physical yoga practice, which includes a gentle warm-up, poses tailored to pregnancy, breathwork, pelvic floor support, and safe core strengthening.
