I knew I needed something different. Yoga was my first step toward healing, offering me a healthier way to elevate my mood and regulate.

What can I expect in a private session? Each private session begins with a conversation to clarify your goals, intentions, and current needs. From there, we take time to create a safe space. This is essential for allowing the nervous system to settle and the body to begin releasing what it no longer needs to hold. The session is guided by you - your body, your energy, and your pace. We move intuitively, allowing for stillness, movement, breath, or meditation depending on what’s needed in the moment. Sometimes we stay in the space of nervous system regulation longer; other times, we’re called into gentle movement or deeper energetic work. We always close with grounding practices so you leave feeling clear, stable, and supported.
Do I need prior yoga experience? Not at all. No experience is necessary. Come just as you are, with an open heart. I will guide you every step of the way and ensure you feel safe, supported, and well cared for throughout our time together.
What kinds of issues can private sessions help with? Private sessions can support a wide range of needs. Through Somatic Experiencing, we gently work to release stored trauma and help the nervous system regulate, creating a more grounded and settled internal state. Sessions can also address physical discomfort or pain, as well as energetic blocks that may be affecting your sense of clarity, vitality, or emotional balance. Whether you're looking for deep healing, gentle support, or simply space to reconnect with yourself, these sessions meet you where you are.
How is this different from a regular yoga class? A typical yoga class primarily focuses on physical postures (asana) in a group setting. In contrast, private sessions are deeply personalized and go beyond movement. Depending on your needs, we may explore somatic release - either through gentle movement or by sitting with physical sensations and allowing them to reveal stored emotions or personal history. This work blends yoga, Somatic Experiencing, and energy awareness to support healing on all levels: physical, emotional, and energetic.
How long are the sessions? Each session is 75 minutes. That said, we honor your body’s natural rhythm. If it feels like enough work has been done before the full time is up, we can close early. On the other hand, if more time is needed to complete the process and ensure you feel grounded and integrated, we’ll take the time to do so with care. Your well-being and sense of safety guide the pace of our work together.
How often should I book sessions? We’ll discuss a plan that fits your goals and needs during our first session. In the beginning, more frequent sessions can be helpful to support integration and build momentum in your healing process. Over time, as you begin to feel more resourced and secure in your own tools, we may shift to a maintenance rhythm or schedule sessions as needed. The intention is always to support your growth toward greater self-trust and independence.
What should I wear and bring for the session? Come as you are, and come comfortable. Wear clothes that allow you to move freely and feel good in your body—nothing constricting. You may also want to bring water. I’ll provide all the props and tools you’ll need for the session, so you can simply show up and receive.
